Principia is the book that I’ve always wanted to write for the magic community. Launched in Dec 2018, it quickly rose to become Vanishing Inc Magic’s best selling book of all time, garnering rave reviews from magicians all across the globe.
It contains 60 card ideas of mine, created over a span of over 10 years. It is written in the style of scientific research papers, and its title is an homage to Isaac Newton’s seminal work on the laws of motion and gravitation, combining my love for card magic and physics.
Every copy of Principia came with a free packet of gimmicked cards and a link to performance videos for the routines in the book. A deluxe edition of Principia (dark blue) came with a sleek slipcase and was limited to 150 copies, which made it a popular collector’s item.
To date, Principia has been translated into Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Spanish, with Japanese and French translations in progress.
